I was born and raised in Iceland, the land of elves and Eyjafjallajökull, (that volcano nobody can pronounce). However over the last nine years I have come to love the importance of a cup of tea delivered at the right time and the need for every conversation to include an observation on the weather. As such I have very much made England my home and I love travelling to the four corners of the UK to photograph weddings in a variety of different landscapes.
As a documentary photographer I love experiencing the wonders of your day through my lens. For me there is nothing better than capturing the emotion and romance of weddings.
Being able to share your special day with you, creating the images that you will cherish for the rest of your lives together with those you love is such a privilege and a job I adore.
My favorite things..
How did you get into Photography
Too many years ago I moved to the UK to study photography. From there I went to Italy to eat pasta and become a photojournalist. I very much enjoyed the food and sun however decided to come back to the UK and start my wedding photography business.
What is your style?
